Any injury incurred at the workplace, must be documented, and reported. If you are injured, the best thing to do is to leave work as soon as possible and come in for a check-up. Leaving any injury unattended, or prolonging a visit to the doctor, may add further risk or harm. Furthermore, if not attended to right away the cause of the injury may be ambiguous
Common injuries incurred at workplace include, but not limited to:
- Back spasm or strain
- Ligament Tears
- Muscle Tension leading to Headaches and/or Pain
- Bruising and/or Inflammation
Your doctor will be able to determine if further examinations are needed, and will work with the respective insurance companies to document the recommended treatment plans and estimated “return to work” dates.
